Rollins Band
Former Black Flag singer Henry Rollins started his own group less than a year after the mighty Flag disbanded in 1986. His next project, the ROLLINS BAND, took a heavy rock turn, adding some funk and avant-jazz to the mix. In the ensuing years, Rollins launched his own publishing company, performed as a spoken-word artist, and wrote for magazines -- as well as signing on as a pitchman for Ford Trucks. In the late '90s, Rollins replaced the original band members with the musicians from an LA group called Mother Superior. |
