Supreme Beings of Leisure
A group of American musicians with ancestral ties to India, Iran, Ireland, Japan, and the Dominican Republic, SUPREME BEINGS OF LEISURE formed almost by accident. The LA hip-hop trio Oversoul 7 asked a friend, Geri Soriano-Lightwood -- working on her own solo record at the time -- to sing over one of their tracks. The combo clicked instantly, and SBL was born. Their debut, Strangelove Addiction, came out on Palm Pictures in February, 2000.
