Union
L.A. hard rock band Union has been described as a "supergroup," which is a little misleading — after all, singer John Corabi's only claim to fame is that he briefly replaced Vince Neil in Motley Crue. Bruce Kulick's resume is slightly more impressive; after playing guitar in Blackjack, Michael Bolton's mid-70s rock group, he went on to spend a decade in Kiss. (Trivia note: He's still the only Kiss guitarist who hasn't worn makeup.) Formed in 1997 after Corabi was canned from the Crue, and Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley reunited with original Kiss members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, Union released their self-titled debut in 1999. Their second studio album, The Blue Room, was recently released on Spitfire Records. |
