Bob Log III
Of all the eccentric and disreputable artists on Mississippi's Fat Possum label, Bob Log III may well be the most controversial. Is his one-man-band approach to electric blues -- which involves a water-bucket kick drum, a phone receiver attached to a motorcycle helmet, and a guitar strung with an esoteric slide tuning -- for real, or is it a disrespectful send-up? Based in Tucson, Arizona, Bob first came to the attention of the music world as one-half of Doo Rag, the duo responsible for such lo-fi novelty blues experiments as 1995's Chuncked & Muddled and 1996's What We Do. Doo Rag split up in the middle of a 1997 tour with Ween; since then, Bob has gone it alone, recording 1998's School Bus and 1999's Trike for Fat Possum. He's also really popular in Japan. |

A thoroughly demented slide-guitar workout, courtesy of one of Fat Possum's most controversial artists. A true mammary jammer, and then some!
