Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Since the band's inception in 1991, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion have created a sound that fuses together elements of blues, funk, punk and experimental indie rock. Founded by front man Jon Spencer (of Pussy Galore and Boss Hog), the New York City trio has made six albums to date. Their latest, Acme, was released earlier this year on Matador Records. JSBE are for fans of good-time funk and rock with a twist. |
