Welcome !
    2GE+HER
They’re one of the hottest boy bands in the country: “bad boy” Mickey Park, “shy guy” Chad Linus, “dewy-eyed youngster” Jason “Q.T.” McKnight, “reassuring older brother” Doug Linus, and “teen idol” Jerry O’Keefe. Brought together by manager/dream maker Bob Buss, they came 2GE+HER to reach new levels of stardom and sell even more records than the Backstreet Boys. Or at least to make you laugh.

The joke here is that 2GE+HER is not an actual “boy band.” Conceived as a parody of the boy band phenomenon, 2GE+HER debuted as a made-for-MTV movie directed by Nigel Dick, a video director whose best known work was for similar teen pop stars, such as Britney Spears and Vitamin C. Starring Alex Solowitz, Noah Bastian, Michael Cuccione, Kevin Farley (brother of the late comedian Chris Farley), and Evan Farmer as the five archetypes found in every boy band, the film was a smash success. The 1999 soundtrack album was also a hit, leading MTV to pick up 2GE+HER as a series set to debut this fall, with a second album to accompany. In the interim, the “band” has played shows with the likes of B*witched and Pink, and has inspired its own spate of adolescent fan websites. As the line between parody and reality blurs, perhaps 2GE+HER are unintentionally becoming a real boy band, after all.

2GE+HER Say It (Don't Spray It) WinMedia Pop
This joke wasn’t funny in junior high, and it’s not funny now -- especially when delivered in the swooning style of a stereotypical boy band.
