After releasing several independent albums, beginning with 1986’s eponymous platter, SCOTS landed a deal with Geffen Records in the mid-‘90s, yielding acclaimed discs like ‘95s Dirt Track Date and ‘97s Plastic Seat Sweat. The band -- comprised of guitarist/vocalist Rick Miller, bassist/vocalist Mary Huff, drummer Dave Hartman and keyboardist Chris Bess -- released its seventh long player, Liquored Up And Lacquered Down, in October 2000.     Southern Culture On The Skids Just How Lonely WinMedia Alt-Country Liquored Up and lonely, The Skids serve up an instant jukebox classic.
