Eventually, Miller found his way to Nashville, where he formed a writing partnership with Jim Lauderdale and played on records by Vitctoria Williams, Heather Myles and others. Miller's wife Julie is also a highly-respected recording artist, and the two have had their songs picked up by Brooks & Dunn, Lee Ann Womack, The Dixie Chicks, and several other established country artists.
