Welcome !
    Soul Assassins
Born in 1968 in Queens, NY to Italian-American parents, Lawrence Muggerud relocated to L.A. in his teens, where he hooked up with rappers B-Real and Sen-Dog. The trio later formed Cypress Hill, with Muggs on the wheels of steel and behind the boards. The trio released their self-titled debut in 1991, and Muggs career took off like a freight train. In addition to forging the tracks for six Cypress albums, he produced the early work of House Of Pain, including the mega-hit, “Jump Around,” and has lent his knob-twirling abilities to everyone from Ice Cube to U2 to Tricky to George Michael. In ’97, he released the compilation, Soul Assassins, for which he hand-picked an array of top-shelf rappers to rhyme over Muggs-laid tracks. He released the follow-up, Soul Assassins II, in 2000.
