Lagwagon
Originally coming together as Section 8 in 1990, the band that would become Lagwagon has managed to stay pretty popular on the punk scene despite a constantly shifting line-up. By the time their debut album, Duh, was released in 1992, the band consisted of vocalist Joey, guitarists Chris and Shawn, drummer Derrick, and bassist Jesse. The line-up did manage to remain stable for 1994's Trashed and 1995's Hoss, but Derrick departed soon after, replaced by former Rich Kids on LSD drummer Dave. By 1997's Double Plaidinum, Shawn had also departed, replaced by ex-Posies guitarist Ken Stringfellow. He, too, was short-lived, and by 1998's Let's Talk About Feelings, was replaced with another ex-Rich Kid, also named Chris. The band has not broken up, but is largely inactive as of 2001, while Joey runs his label (My Records) and plays with Me First & the Gimme Gimmes alongside Dave, who also drums for Good Riddance. |

Punk |
Solid (if uninspired) pop-punk -- this is the stereotypical "Fat Wreck Chords sound" again, though Lagwagon does it as well as anyone, for whatever that’s worth.
