Jethro Tull
Formed in the wake of the mid-sixties British blues boom, Jethro Tull has gone on to become one of the most respected (and certainly longest-lived) group in the pantheon of progressive rock. Led by vocalist/flautist/songwriter Ian Anderson and his deputy of three decades, guitarist Martin Barre, Tull has forged a unique and immediately identifiable sound out of their rock, jazz, and medieval influences. Still going strong at the end of the Twentieth Century, the group recently released their twentieth studio album, j-tull.com, on Fuel 2000 Records. |
