Bjork Whether she's tackling arty indie pop, big band standards, or dance tracks, Bjork is instantly recognizable. The Icelandic pop star first made a splash in the US as the vocalist for '80s cult faves the Sugarcubes. When they disbanded in 1992, she was free to experiment with more dance-oriented sounds on the solo effort Debut. Through three more albums, the singer either collaborated with or had her ebullient, childlike vocals remixed by an astonishing number of superstar producers, including Nellee Hooper, Tricky, and Goldie. |
