Beulah
A Bay Area representative of the Elephant 6 collective, BEULAH shares a love of pop hooks, orchestral arrangements, and bedroom recording with mates like Olivia Tremor Control and The Apples (in Stereo). Beulah began with two friends, Bill Swan and Miles Kurosky, recording songs on a four-track. These works later became the band's debut full-length, Handsome Western States, which led to swelling ranks (not as painful as it sounds) for touring purposes. Now BEULAH includes upwards of seven musicians, wielding everything from violins to trumpets in search of chamber-pop bliss. |
