The band blends both musical genres, plus a healthy dose of sarcasm, on its rare albums and EPs (only two of each in its first dozen years). In 1990, the suicide of drummer Jeff Ward (Revolting Cocks), who’d been battling a heroin addiction, put a halt to Lard’s output for the next seven years.
