Welcome !
    Deborah Harry and Robert Jacks
Best-known as the sexy frontwoman of new wave stars Blondie, Deborah (or Debbie, as she was known way back when) Harry got her start as a member of singing trio The Stilettos. Favorites of NYC’s downtown art crowd, The Stilettos broke up on the cusp of punk rock’s formative days. When Harry met guitarist Chris Stein, the two promptly fell in love and formed Blondie. The biggest chart-toppers to emerge from the late ‘70s CBGB scene, Blondie managed to maintain its artsy, adventurous sensibility, rendering reggae and b-boy culture accessible to the mainstream with hits like “The Tide is High” and “Rapture.” In 1982, Stein was diagnosed with Pemphigus, a debilitating genetic disease that left him unable to record or perform. Blondie disbanded, and Harry nursed Stein back to health while continuing the part-time solo career that started with 1981’s KooKoo. In 1994, after a string of uneven albums, she joined forces with the Jazz Passengers and transformed herself into a lounge-inspired chanteuse. Harry reunited with her Blondie bandmates in 1999 for a successful tour and full-length album, No Exit.

Deborah Harry and Robert Jacks Der Einzeger Weg MP3 Pop, Rock
Perhaps the first slasher-flick theme not to include screaming strings or panicked horns, this torch song would sound more at home in Weimar Berlin than the Texas prairie.
