Like his labelmates R.L. Burnside and the late Junior Kimbrough, T-Model plays the kind of raw, nasty, totally uninhibited music that would probably freak out those who think that the blues begins and ends with Eric Clapton and Robert Cray. Though he once did time on a chain-gang for killing a man in a bar fight, the 78 year-old T-Model swears that his ass-stompin' days are now behind him.
