Welcome !
    LTJ Bukem
DJ/producer/label owner L.T.J. Bukem has long played a crucial role in the drum 'n' bass scene, pushing the music in more melodic directions than its beat-heavy roots originally allowed. Born Danny Williamson in London in 1967, Bukem got his first introduction to music through classical music and jazz. These influences stayed with him throughout his career, informing the focus on melody that marks his recorded work. After producing his first single, "Logical Progression," in 1990, Bukem started Good Looking Records to gain more control over his own recordings; he formed Looking Good Records a few years later. But even while running a successful cluster of labels -- as well as a popular dance night at London's Mars Bar -- Bukem always downplayed his own career, choosing instead to champion the careers of his fellow artists. As such, his first few releases were mix albums, containing only a few of his own tracks. He finally released a proper solo record, the two-disc Journey Inwards, in 2000.
