Project 86
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Korn and Limp Bizkit, Project 86 formed in Southern California a wee three years ago. The urban-core quartet wasted no time in honing their chops on the Orange County club circuit, often sharing the stage with such similarly Christian pliers of the heavy trade as Stavesacre and Five Iron Frenzy. Likewise, the quartet wasted no time in recording their debut album for indie BEC, Project 86 (released in 1998). After much touring, usually within the non-mainstream Christian-music circle, Project 86 recorded their next album, Drawing Black Lines, around the turn of the new millenium. Though the album was again released by BEC, Drawing Black Lines found itself quickly snatched up by Atlantic which re-released the album in the Spring of 2000. |
