Welcome !
    King's X
King’s X may be one of the most eccentric bands in the world of metal. And wisely, the band has parlayed that eccentricity into an eclectic, critically-acclaimed career. Seasoned musical veterans by the time they formed in 1985, the trio debuted with 1988’s Out of the Silent Planet, an album that would lay the groundwork for the King’s X sound: mind-bending song structures, silky Beatles-esque vocal harmonies, hard-rockin’ riffs, and metaphorical lyrics that often (but subtly) deal with spirituality. A year later, the band’s second album, Gretchen Goes to Nebraska, garnered even greater critical acclaim, as did its follow-up (and, arguably, their finest moment), 1990’s Faith Hope Love. Come 1992, though, the band would jump ship from indie Megaforce to the major label Atlantic, releasing another well-received disc, King’s X. Two more albums --Dogman (1994) and Ear Candy (1996) - - followed on Atlantic before King’s X would sign with Metal Blade. Once on Metal Blade, the band recorded Tape Head (’98), which received the critics’ best marks yet despite not being released on a major. During the summer of 2000, the band’s eighth album, Please Come Home…Mr. Bulbous, saw the light of day.

King's X Marsh Mellow Field MP3 Metal
This “Marsh Mellow Field” may be a bit too flowery for some, but the field where King’s X play is entirely its own.
