Hatebreed
Though they call their music "hardcore," Hatebreed delivers a sound that's virtually indisitinguishable from the thrash-metal purveyed by such late-'80s heroes as Slayer, Celtic Frost, and Sepultura. Formed in New Haven, Connecticut in 1993 by vocalist Jamey Jasta, the band (which also includes guitarist Lou "Boulder" Richards, guitarist Sean Martin, bassist Chris Beattie, and drummer Rigg Ross) burst onto the national heavy rock scene with Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire, their 1997 release on Victory records. Since then, they've toured endlessly, both with like-minded labelmates such as Skarhead, All Out War, Blood For Blood and Shutdown, and on several rounds of the Warped Tour. Under The Knife their second Victory release, was unleashed during the summer of 2000. |
