Welcome !
    Alice Cooper
America's counterpart to Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper has been Stateside hard rock's elder statesman for so long, they oughta put his mascara-drenched face on the $100 bill. Born Vincent Furnier in 1948, he cut his teeth in various Arizona high school garage bands, including The Earwigs and The Spiders. In 1968, The Spiders changed their name to Alice Cooper, allegedly after a witch they contacted through a ouija board. Young Vince adopted the Alice monicker as his own, and quickly established a reputation as one of rock's most bizarre frontmen. After a couple of misfires, the band scored its first major hit in 1971 with "I'm Eighteen," which was quickly followed by the likes of "Be My Lover," "Under My Wheels" and "No More Mr. Nice Guy." Like Marilyn Manson two decades later, the group was a constant lightning rod for controversy, but a non-stop love affair with alcohol was far more damaging to the band then the endless parade of rumors. The band broke up in 1974, but Alice continued on as a solo act; despite numerous ups and downs (including occasional visits to rehab and mental hospitals), Alice has managed to come through with his career and sanity intact. His most recent album, 2000's Brutal Planet, was released to rave reviews, and his Phoenix-based Cooperstown restaurant is doing well enough to spawn franchises in other cities. Long may he rock.

Alice Cooper Gimme MP3 Metal
The man responsible for KISS, Johnny Rotten, Marilyn Manson, and Rob Zombie returns with the perfect anthem for these acquisitive times, and proves that he's still the master!

Alice Cooper No More Mr. Nice Guy LiquidAudio Rock
The time span between the quintessentially defiant chords that open this song and the bratty drum fill that closes it can only be classified as absolute audio ecstasy. This remastered slice of 1973 is pure heaven, whether you're dazed, confused, or just plain ready to rock.
