Comprised of singer Jeff Bebe, guitar phenom Russell Hammond, drummer Ed Vallencourt and bassist Larry Fellows, Stillwater built their reputation with fiery live shows (and a broken fence or two), but they truly found fame when they were featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in 1974. The article, penned by 15 year old rock-critic (aka "The Enemy") William Miller, followed the band on their 1974 “Almost Famous" tour, the culmination of which was a harrowing plane ride that nearly ended in tragedy, but ultimately strengthened the band.     Stillwater Fever Dog WinMedia Rock Stillwater shows it's good to be stuck on Band-Aids with this '70's gem.
