Stillwater
Rising out of the ashes of the Jeff Bebe band, Stillwater strove to capture all that was holy in '70's rock and roll. Comprised of singer Jeff Bebe, guitar phenom Russell Hammond, drummer Ed Vallencourt and bassist Larry Fellows, Stillwater built their reputation with fiery live shows (and a broken fence or two), but they truly found fame when they were featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine in 1974. The article, penned by 15 year old rock-critic (aka "The Enemy") William Miller, followed the band on their 1974 “Almost Famous" tour, the culmination of which was a harrowing plane ride that nearly ended in tragedy, but ultimately strengthened the band. |

Stillwater shows it's good to be stuck on Band-Aids with this '70's gem. Does anyone remember laughter?
