The pop-punk quartet formed in suburban New York in 1996 around the nucleus of guitarist/vocalist Chris Johnson, drummer Phil Robinson, and guitarist Chris Hughes. They've played musical chairs with bass players over the years -- Johnson took over the chores for a while, but eventually switched back to guitar, and the band shared members with fellow punkers Fairchild for a while before finally settling on bassist Rob Kucharek. Quickly gaining a following for their melodic sound, the quartet has toured extensively with the likes of MXPX, the Get Up Kids, and Less Than Jake.
